MedShare Forges New Clinic Partnerships at Healthcare Symposiums
Events Aligned Perfectly with MedShare’s Mission of Service to Marginalized Communities
Annually, the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics (NAFC) holds its Charitable Healthcare Symposium, a national educational conference that brings together medical directors, clinical personnel, management-level staff, medical students, and volunteers from America’s 1,400+ Free and Charitable Clinics.
The Symposium, held this September in Atlanta, was an amazing opportunity to connect face-to-face with free and charitable clinics from around the country as well as many of the state associations that support their work. We are aligned in our mission to improve access to healthcare for the uninsured and underinsured in our communities, and excited for the future as we grow our impact together.
MedShare’s partnership with NAFC presented us with the opportunity to make these clinics aware of MedShare as a go-to resource for free medical supplies and equipment. We were extremely pleased to have been able to forge relationships with 42 new clinic partners during the two-day event.
MedShare was also fortunate to have been able to attend the Health Connect South annual event at the Georgia Aquarium thanks to our Board Chair, Thomas Hawk. It proved to be a great opportunity to engage with the healthcare community and reinforce MedShare’s commitment to expand our support for Free & Charitable Clinics throughout the U.S.
One of the region’s most influential health care conferences, Health Connect South underscores the city’s role as an important health care hub in the Southeast, bringing together top-tier health leaders and innovators across disciplines to engage each other in collaborative conversations focused on meeting identified health needs in our communities.
MedShare was quite proud to be at the table for both of these impactful healthcare events.
